Lion Dance Beats (“the app”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the app does and does not collect.
Your game progress (levels completed, stars, tokens, settings) is stored only on your own device. We never collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, advertising ID or payment information, and the app doesn’t require an account or login to play. The app does send anonymous gameplay events, and — only if you choose to submit a score — a leaderboard entry. Both are described below.
If you choose to submit a score to the online leaderboard, only a short 7-character tag that you type and your score are stored. We don’t ask for or store any personal information alongside it. Submitting a score is entirely optional — the game is fully playable without it.
Lion Dance Beats is free to download and play. Any optional purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We never see or store your payment details — the app store handles all billing.
The app does not display third-party advertising and does not use advertising trackers. It may show promotions for our own Lion Dance Kids store, which simply open our website in your browser — no data is collected to do this.
The app records anonymous gameplay events so we can see which levels are too hard and which features are used. Each event contains a randomly generated identifier created on your device, the name of the event (for example “level completed”), the stage and level involved, a score or star count, the platform (iOS, Android or web) and the app version. This identifier is not your name, email address or phone number. It is not the device’s own identifier or advertising ID either, but a random value created by the app — which the app stores classify as a device-level identifier. It is never linked to your identity, and it tells us nothing about you beyond which events came from the same install. We do not use this data for advertising or tracking, and we do not share or sell it. The data is stored in our own database (Supabase) and is used only to improve the game.
Automatic deletion: gameplay events are permanently deleted within 91 days of being recorded, by an automatic daily process. We keep no long-term history.
There is nothing to delete in most cases — your progress lives on your own device, and uninstalling the app removes it.

The app is intended for users aged 13 and over and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13.
We do not use third-party advertising networks or advertising trackers, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone. We use Supabase as our database provider to store leaderboard entries and the anonymous gameplay events described above.
